The passage of people or the transfer of objects in a room of class ISO6 or better requires a system that "cleans" the transit between outside and accessing the cleanroom, this included the removing of contaminating particles from the clothing and the surface of the materials. Industrial Sliding Interlock Door Cleanroom Air Shower effectively replaces intermediate changing rooms, thereby decreasing unproductive time of personnel.
The air shower works by decontaminating surfaces by blasting them with high-speed jets of filtered air, 25 m/sec. The impact dislodges and lifts the particles that float in the moving aeriform and are continuously carried to the filter sections that take care of their disposal.
The air shower is an autonomous structure that does not interfere with the cleanroom system, to be positioned so as to intercept the transit section. The cabinet structure, without a frame, is made of self-supporting double-walled panels in painted sheet metal or 304 stainless steel with a seamless internal surface.

HEPA Filtered Walk-Thru Air Shower Chamber Removes Particulate Contamination.
Cleanroom Air Showers are designed to supply ISO Class 5 (Class 100) airflow while removing particulate contamination from personnel entering a cleanroom. An individual can stand or walk through the chamber and be scrubbed by pressurized air from nozzles.
HEPA Filters
HEPA filtered air flows through wall mounted nozzles and contaminated air is forced through secondary filters located near the floor.
Lighting
Fluorescent lighting is provided in the ceiling.
Voltage
Voltage options are 208-230, 50 or 60 Hz and 440/480 volts, 3 phase, 60 Hz.
The interlock system allows only one door at a time to be open and releases if the power fails.

The Industrial Sliding Interlock Door Air Shower has a knock-down design that allows ease-of-installation and flexibility in use. The air shower can be shipped knowcked down or completely assembled. When it is shipped knock-down all parts fit through a standard door. All service to the blower, motor and filters is done from inside the air shower. The unit also offers an optional design that allows all the installation assembly to be done from inside the air shower.
