Air Shower Clean Room Performance
Wind speed in the air shower. According to the research results of European and American experts, when the wind speed of the air shower room is above 20ms, the dust removal efficiency almost reaches the maximum value. As the wind speed increases, the dust removal efficiency changes little.
(1)For dust with different particle sizes, under the same wind speed, the larger the particle size, the better the dust removal effect. In reality, because the air shower room is located between the clean area and the non-clean area, and is used frequently, the resistance of the filter rises quickly. Therefore, although the initial wind speed of most air shower rooms exceeds 20 ms, they can pass the acceptance. But after a period of use, the wind speed will decrease, and the dust removal efficiency will drop sharply.
In addition, the wind speed mentioned by the supplier usually refers to the wind speed at the nozzle outlet, and the wind speed on the surface of the human body or cargo has to be much lower. Therefore, for the new air shower room, the initial wind speed should not be lower than 25m/s, and better to exceed 28mls.
(2) Blowing time in the air shower room. According to the research results of European and American experts, the blowing time of the air shower room should not be less than 30s, especially for small particles of dust. The current air shower room on the market can freely set the blowing time, usually higher blowing time can be set to 99s.
(3) The blowing angle of the air shower room. When the high-speed airflow blows over the surface of the object, it will directly take away the dust on the surface. If the adhesion of dust on the surface of the object is strong, or when it is attached to the gap of the fabric, the dust removal effect when the high-speed air blows directly on the surface of the object is not great, especially for the dust drilled in the gap of the fabric.
Therefore, only when the airflow causes the clothes to vibrate constantly, can the dust in the gap be removed. Just like washing clothes at ordinary times, you must wash clothes with your hands. In order to cause the clothes to vibrate, the airflow should preferably be blown to the surface of the clothes at a certain angle, and this angle is usually 30°-60°.
(4) The nozzle form and arrangement of the air shower room. At present, the general air shower room has nozzles on both sides of the blowing area, with 6 nozzles on each side of each unit. Due to the limitation of the structure, the height of the nozzles on both sides from the ground should not be less than 1m. In addition, most of the nozzles currently used in the air shower are direction-adjustable, and this structure has historical reasons. When the air shower room is just formed, there are only nozzles with a fixed direction. However, because the nozzles are located at a higher position inside the air shower room, the number is not large, and they can only blow the upper body of the human body when used.
Therefore, the designer changed the direction-fixed nozzle to the direction-adjustable nozzle, and the direction of the nozzle can be adjusted according to the actual use situation, so that more parts of the human body surface can be sprayed. With the advent of direction-adjustable nozzles, another problem also arises at the same time. Due to the high speed of the shower airflow, when it blows on the surface of the human body, quite a few people always feel uncomfortable and do not want to be showered. After they enter the air shower room, they always have to turn the direction of the nozzle. Make it face the entrance and exit door to avoid blowing and showering. For this reason, some units also have cameras in the air shower room to monitor the actions of employees entering the air shower room.
